2013 really has started with a bang! We have fantastic stockists on board, a rapturous reception from our lovely brides for the Much More Muchier collection and the workroom is awash with fabrics, crystals and antique trinkets ready for the 2014 gowns!
Oh…and we may have just won the National award for ‘Best Wedding Dress Designer 2013’ in the coveted Wedding Industry Awards! (Just a small thing, you may have seen us mention it in passing on Facebook?!)
We had a fabulous evening at the Bloomsbury Ballrooms, catching up with highly regarded wedding professionals, putting faces to fellow tweeters and meeting new, friendly individuals.
We were thrilled at winning the regional award and had everything crossed for the national award, but knowing there was some stiff competition from the other regional winners, we had a glass (or two) of bubbly and waited with bated breath.
When our name was announced the room erupted with the support and encouragement from every finalist. Terry took to the stage like a true star and looked amazing in her black lace cocktail dress with see-through lace sleeves and a statement vintage embroidered flower front panel. Her interview with Sky TV was fantastic and proves she is just as natural in front of a camera as behind a sewing machine!
The rest of the evening was full of more champers, dancing, laughter and talking ourselves hoarse.
Leaving the big smoke the following day we were excited to get back to Terry Fox Towers and find a new home for the award.
So it may only be the 14th of January, but the first 14 days have been a blast and we know this is a sign of things to come!

Shot on a deserted shingle beach in Kent, on the coldest, dampest and most blustery day of the year so far, it seemed everything was against Adam Alex and his team! However, this proved to be a perfect setting for this dramatic photoshoot and video. The amazing photographic skills of Adam Alex, coupled with the creative design talents of Yossi Fisher have produced such stunning results that we have been getting compliments from all around the world.
