First of all we would like to say a huge thank you to all you lovely ladies who decided to have their wedding gowns or special dresses designed and made at Terry Fox. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your special occasions. We loved designing, customising and sensationalising your very special one-off creations.

We would also like to announce our great news of moving into wholesale for 2012, and to introduce you to our first-ever stockists across the U.K. We currently have a selection of dresses in the Republic of Ireland, London, Essex, Sussex and Hampshire. We can also arrange for any of the collection to be sent to your nearest stockist for you to try on.

The new collection is called ‘Much More Muchier’, and has been inspired by Alice In Wonderland, Tim Burton style. We will be showing these exquisite gowns at The White Gallery London in May 2012, where we hope to widen our list of stockists, taking the Terry Fox brand even closer to your home.

This has been an exciting time for us to see the Terry Fox label rising in popularity, but also a challenge to keep the originality within the collection, and maintain total control of the quality of construction with a fabulous team working to produce the garments here in the U.K.

For those still wishing for something totally unique and ticking all the right boxes for that individual dress you had in mind, we will still offer a couture, made to measure service from Terry’s own studios here in Suffolk. Please call for more details regarding the process, costs etc. We are always here to give advice, but please note that this service is by appointment only, and we take a limited amount of clients.

Due to this change in our production, we are offering a huge amount of our sample dresses in our sale, available throughout January 2012 only. Sample designs are available with a discount of up to 70%.

We can also offer a 10% discount on all made to measure orders placed with us during January 2012. Please note that this is on a first come, first served basis, as there are limited spaces available until our books are closed for the year.

Rosella Canade stuns the City of London in her Terry Fox wedding dress!!

Rosella had the following to say about her Terry Fox experience:

“I had tried so so many dresses on, and I knew I didn’t want my gown to be white or ivory. I love period costume and I had been searching the internet for a Marie Antionette inspired dress. That’s when I came across Terry Fox. I pretty much knew as soon as I saw her website that was exactly what I was looking for. A period style dress that had a contemporary twist. Something very unique and that hopefully would intrigue my guests. It was the first sample as soon as I walked into Terry’s Fox boutique, but it wasn’t until I tried it on that I knew for sure that it was the one.

Terry made me a very similar copy to her sample dress but added some vintage buttons that used to be my father’s when he was a tailor (he passed away in 2006). She made the whole experience totally stress free. I went for three fittings and it was briliant knowing that dress was being made just for me…”

Rosella and Trevor had their amazing wedding at St Peter’s Italian Church in Clerkenwell, London and celebrated after with a reception at the Stationer’s Hall. These fantastic images, courtesy of Steven Gerrard, really show off Terry’s design – a real traffic-stopper!!

'Galaxy' wedding dress by Terry Fox Couture Bridal

Avid followers of Terry Fox will know that we have enjoyed a long relationship with Adam Alex Photography. Adam has not only photographed Terry’s bridal and fashion shoots, but also accepted commissions from many of our client’s for their wedding photography and video.

Adam has recently entered the Fashion category of the WPPI competition with an image of ‘Galaxy’, one of the designs from Terry’s latest collection ‘Classic With a Twist’. This stunning image gained an amazingly high score, earning Adam first place in the international competition, judged in Las Vegas, U.S.A. in February.

Classic With A Twist – The Roost shoot

We were hunting for an interesting location for Adam Alex to shoot Terry’s ‘Classic With A Twist’ collection – and we found a gem of a venue at The Roost! and were amazed at what a delightfully eccentric place this was! Four floors crammed with interesting backdrops and props – we were spoilt!!

Zoe and Nathan brought their team from Silhouette Du Barry (01245 257137) and did their usual amazing hairstyling, and Laura from Blu makeup http://www.blu-mua.co.uk/ worked her magic too – fabulous as always!

Adam Alex www.xsightuk.com brought along the hugely talented Emiliano Atzori to assist on the day, so we actually got two world-leading photographers in one package! Yet again, under extreme pressure and time constraints, Adam delivered the goods – amazing images, with feeling, mood and stunning detail. Adam’s inimitable style and flair are ideally suited to Terry’s designs, we love to work with him, and we are also blessed to have him as such a great friend too.

And of course, thanks to our four fantastic models – Sarah Newman, Lucy Smith and Natalie Bowen (agent: Sue Salmon at Modelplan 07775 683 955) and Charlotte Holmes, (agent: Stephanie Walton at Wise Buddah 07714 099 363). Thanks for working so hard on what was a long day’s shoot – we hope you are as pleased as we are with the results!
