Online Sewcial Events
THE ACADEMY OF COUTURE SEWING AND CREATIVE TEXTILES
Each event is created ‘Live’ online, bringing together a community spirit with serious learning. It is a Sewcial get together with like-minded people. Grab a glass of wine or a cup of coffee and sit back and watch the journey unfold. Some subjects are held over several weeks and inspired by an in-depth study of a Top International Designer’s Signature Style! Or as a ‘one-off’ event full of useful, awesome content.
You may never make the designs shown, but learning how and why we do certain things in the fashion industry is inspirational. Most people like to watch, write notes and take ideas for future reference. Some like to sew along. I explain my design plan and materials used in the first week to help as a guide.
All ‘Live’ events are recorded so you can watch at any time, wherever you are in the world, and you can always watch again as a reference.

This is one of our most popular events of the year. Especially designed to bring you the most sort after, wearable styles from the 2026 Autumn/Winter Collections.
I love this season’s trends… colours, shapes and styles. From the likes of Free People, M&S and River Island to NFD, Erdem and Westwood. My favourite picks of the season.
All made by choosing key commercial patterns. Then adding a few extra designer details. Worked from the best fabric combinations hiding in our stash, apply some awesome Pattern hacks, sewing techniques and textile decoration and you’re almost there!
This event is a MUST if you love making and creating your own clothes and keeping up with high end fashion trends! Harvey Nic’s, Vogue Magazine, Hello Fashion and the high Street are my ‘Go to’ for inspiration!

This is also a wonderful opportunity to catch up with all our sewing friends and have a glass of wine or two. Chit chat about our favourite subject and bounce around ideas. All without leaving the comfort of your very own sewing room.

I have been promising to do this for a very long time and now we have the opportunity.

For anyone booking on this class I will make the pattern available so you can print it off. I have gone for a large statement size. But you can easily change to any size you prefer.
