The Bar Suit epitomises the iconic style of The New Look created by Dior. With its hourglass silhouette and powers of seduction, we were witnessing a fashion revolution!

And with that came a free-thinking, mean feat of fabric engineering!

I have always said I believe the true meaning of couture is to think of a design then figure out whatever it takes to make that idea a reality—working on the bones of the design from the inside out!

The Bar Suit is Pure Couture!

During the seven sessions, I create a suit working entirely to the essence of couture: hand-worked interlayers and underpinnings, building, layering, padding and controlled hand stitching.

I am showing you ways to sculpture fabric into any form. An adventure you may like to observe for pure pleasure, fascination and knowledge.

I hope to inspire you to create a piece of couture for yourself. So one day if not now you can put your skills to task and be very proud of your achievements.
